The Netherlands Fellowship Program

The Netherlands Fellowship program at the University of Twente provides 61 developing countries training and education for mid-career staff members. This is an initiative of the Dutch government. In order to be eligible for application, applicants must be from one of the NFP approved developing countries. Applicants should possess at least three years’ work experience, should be nominated by his/her employer and should be admitted by the University of Twente’s Master degree program. The award covers tuition fees, accommodation, insurance, books and other study material, and visa costs. Upon completion of the program, students must agree to return to their country of origin.

Erik Bleumink Scholarships for Developing Countries

Oscar Van Leer Fellowship in Journalism for Selected Developing Countries

A scholarship program for journalism students interested in studying in Netherlands is the Oscar Van Leer Fellowship in Journalism. This is an international philanthropic foundation based in The Hague. It aims to improve opportunities for disadvantaged children.
